Anybody ever use the snowbunjie rattler?

i just boght one, do they work well?

Do they work well, do they work great. Awesome buy, you won't be sorry,maybe need a longer pull legth to get out of the way. the bunje highjack feud is long going on this forum. Bunje rattler is great, exception on length, but make for easy self removale of own sled, on flat on downslope grown, withe the addition of a small cable to throttle....

but snowbunje is great, saves alot ot digging, it works wonders.

I've ridden with a guy who has one. He has used it a couple of times and it worked great, but he had to get it out, and hook it up, and put it back which seemed like a bunch of unnecessary steps when you can just jump off and pull the ski.

Usually a tug on the ski will do the same thing... Nothing against the product, I have just chosen to spend my money elsewhere.

I agree. If it is in your pack, it sucks getting to it when you need it. I put mine around the bar riser. when I need it, I gust grab it. I have seen others put it on the back of their sleds and that seem good too.

pull on the ski HA!!

When you ride in the deep stuff a (pull on the ski) does not work!!. these things do work. when your stuck good the sled to sled bungie works great. wrap it around the bar or riser. rode with S&R once late at night (when the weather sucks) and thats all they use!!

Believe me when the snow is up to your chest while standing on a large sagebrush a tug on a ski won't do it but the snowbunje will. Just don't get all the sleds stuck at the same time.

:D Good luck pulling on the ski as hard as you can pull with the SnoBunje. :rolleyes: Unless you have Elastoman arms there is no possible way you can generate the same Kinetic energy and pulling force. I made believers out of some non-believers yesterday. If I didn't have the Bunje yesterday I wouldn't be walking today.
If you can time your maximum pull just right to the throttle application it is amazing how well it can work.

Hey, I'm convinced.

But now I'm confused; Since Kinnetic energy is energy in motion, is it really kinnetic energy, or is it static energy? Hummm... I really don't know.

basically it allows you to pull on the ski but instead of for a foot of your arm strength, like 3 times that long.

they work... you guys think the rattler works good, once you figure out how to use the cobra, they are freaking amazing!!!

snobunjees make stuck not so bad.

Static = Stationary
Kinetic = Energy of motion.
The motion is the elastic pulling energy from the stretch of the bunjee.
Google "Snobunje kinetic energy".

You know I think you are right.

If you are refering to the motion of the snowmobile then that is definately Kinnetic energy, and if you are refering to the stored energy of a stretched cord, that may be kinetic. Reguardless I agree that would be a good tool to have.

Not to mention the fact that you could theoretically get yourself unstuck in a worst case scenerio, if you had some extra cord, and a tree.

[Kelowna huh? I'll bet you guys have some sick snow right now].

I have the shorter model (Rattler I think) and use a 6' extension rope to make it long enough to pull by hand. I found the extension kept me from getting run over by the sled when it pops out of the hole. I have single handed getting unstuck by using a parachute cord hooked to the throttle and pulling on the snowbungie.

BCB

ive never used one but isnt it the harder you pull just the further they stretch??ive seen one at a dealer but actually never seen one in use. i just do the good old ski pull or if its really bad i have a shovel which i had to use when my 163 was vertical with only the nose of the sled sticking above the snow, but im also 5'9 and 220 and kinda actually enjoy getting people unstuck
