Anybody ever hear/try this ski mod?

I've been running the new TS ski this last winter and it's way better then the 10" ski (from my old 2moto) with this promoto mod that I used last year. That mod would work ok in some conditions, but would pack up with snow and make the front end drag. I've not tried the new dual runner center keel add on, and so far I've not had enough complaints on my 2013 10" to warrant purchasing it. If I did, than I would for sure go for the dual runner.

That's pretty much what I figured. I like my 10" ts ski way better than the 6" in all conditions. It isn't too bad on ice but definately could be better. I will buy the the dual runner skag from ts before next season. Everything I've heard from that is its a HUGE difference on hardback!

Interesting. I was planning on getting the TS dual keel Center skag as well but this has me curious.

Do I dare comment on this topic? I co-developed the Trail Rider kit...
The new Timbersled Backcountry ski is in a completely different league than the Simmons Gen 2 when running it on a Timbersled equipped bike off trail. It easily beats my best Gen 2 ski, with whatever combination of things I can bolt on the bottom.
Allen did a phenomenal job developing that ski, and it was worth the wait to get one.

Where the Trail Rider shines, is on the hard or frozen trail. If I wanted to do a nice long trail ride, I might throw my Trail Rider equipped ski on. Maybe.
If I was on a 2moto kit and was ripping trails and ditch-bangin, I'd run the Trail Rider for sure.

But on a Timbersled, that new Backcountry ski is just plain awesome.

Trail rider....I still think I was the one that came up with the name: ) Completely agree with Blaser, it works great on hard packed ice and nasty trails. If you're runnin a 2moto 10" ski, get this mod!
