Anybody else riding crusty this weekend?

CB

Let me know if you are interested in doing a little sled/skiing while you are here. My good sled is in for a clutch balance but the trusty 583 gets around ok if your willing to lead. Kebler is plowed to the "Y" for a XC clinic so that trailheads gonna be a bit of a cluster but we can figure something out. Good skiing out of a couple other trailheads but the sledding is a little limited. I've found many of your posts to be intriguing and would look forward to putting a face to the words. It's true we don't have the snow depth that you would find up north, but it isn't exactly brown out there by any means. Hope to hear from ya!

I'm seeing 94" snowfall so far this year, sure doesn't sound lacking?

I think we'll be just sledding, looking to go find a double somewhere or go hit some drops back in robinson.

With it being plowed to the Y, how the heck would you turn around with a big trailer?

It blew so damn hard up here today- I'll bet there's five foot drifts up and across the road. I don't see the County plowing on Turkey day for a bunch of granola's. XC clinic is on Saturday, so plow it all on Friday? Either way your gonna have to park at the winter trailhead with that rig. Even if the road is plowed, it will be plenty snowy and it's only a few miles of mandatory road. You write of some rather sporty riding, though. You'd be better off without me. Maybe the bottom of the Ruby climb for cocoa.

snow was hugely variable up there this weekend. Good snow in the boring flats, but not much in the areas that I was hoping to ride... they need some snow & a bit less wind for a while.

The trees to the south of the Y were pretty decent though.
