Anybody been to Fairfield lately?

we'll be driving by tomorrow on the way to the trinities. i'll post up what i can see

we had some guys that came over to S.E. Idaho to ride with us this past weekend they haven't even been able to get there first ride in over at FairField~ or thats what they claim~~~

Pretty brown looking over by Fairfield when the wife came back from Boise on Tuesday. The last snowfall we had here in Hailey was a month ago. They're forecasting a storm coming in tonight & all day Friday but it sounds like it may go to the south of us. They're calling for 2"-6" in Twin Falls and a foot or better in the South Hills. Might have to trailer down south & ride Magic Mountain area. Life in the donut hole, what can I say :face-icon-small-sad

thanks everyone

So sounds like Fairfield is out, I am in Boise and don't want to go north again, anybody have any great ideas for sunday, how are trinities, or where is south mountain area exactly, never been there?

Magic Mountain ski resort is south of Twin Falls 30 miles or so. They're forecasting up tp 2' feet of new snow @ Pomerell ski resort so I would imagine Magic Mountain should get a pretty good dump as well. Sunday could be a killer day! :D

We haven't gotten anything here in Hailey today that's stuck to the ground today, to warm.

Idaho Mike,
How much snow is on the level in Hailey/Bellevue?

How about Baker Creek?

Not sure about Baker but 6" or less here in the valley. The hills above my house on the east side are mostly brown.

I rode out of baker creek last weekend and went up the silver creek side and there was about 3 ft up on the hill , but found a couple old metal fence post peaking out of the snow.

There is 24-30 at the parking area ( aprox ) plow banks are just tall enough to load / unload my truck with.

I lived in Chantrelle, behind the Valley Market on the north edge of Belleuve (when that used to be the end of town, LOL).
I remember climbing those hills behind the hay field between Bellevue and Hailey.

That winter in 99-00 was considered a thin winter, but we had 3' of snow in our yard most of the winter.

I miss the riding there.
Good times.
