Anybody riding at Diamond Lake yet??

I hope they're getting some of this new snow as were heading that way on Wednesday.

Praying for snow...:smow:

From the looks of the trip check cam they have 50 times more snow than all of last year :)

We stayed at Diamond Lake Resort and rode on 12/26 and 12/27. The coverage is good around the resort with plenty of snow to get around on the trails.

As to be expected the snow coverage gets better as you gain elevation but there are still lots of hidden obstacles to be found if you venture off trail.

We followed the groomer into Crater Lake on Thursday morning for broken views of the lake. Rode the trail East past Summit Rock to the Highway crossing. Decent snow coverage around the Summit Rock area.

Moved to Crescent Lake Junction and rode on 12/28 and 12/29. There is decent coverage around the junction area with enough snow to get around for fuel and to Manley's. The snow coverage is pretty good as you get around Summit Lake and Timpanogas shelter. We made the loop around the Kelsay Valley Trail and found good snow up top.

Rode to Diamond Lake and back from C.L.J. on Saturday via Windigo Pass and found decent coverage the entire way. Although it was a little thin in some of the lower elevations there was enough to cover the trail. Good coverage up top in the big trees.
