Going to install a couple ATACC's tomorrow, any tips???

Any quick instructions as to where to locate the hole to drill in the carb? the picture in the instructions isn't real clear....

Also, we do most of our riding at 5000' plus, but we are at 1500' at home and get to ride very little here. Hardly ever ride in temps below 0 so I turned the fitting back 1/6 of a turn on the compensator. I jetted for this altitude but I wonder if I shouldn't jet for 5000' and then hook up the blue tube once we get there???

Any other tips on this deal that would simplify things would be appreciated....

Cheers!:beer;

What machines are you putting the Atacc system on? Mine is on a Polaris RMK800.

I just drilled into the centre of the plate on the carb. Make sure the fitting you place will not affect any moving parts under the carb plate. A good seal is important when connecting the tubing up to this. I put a small zip tie on the tubing to ensure it would not pull off the fitting, like it did on my brothers machine.

Jet for the lowest alt/temp you will ride at. Any mods on the machines?

Overall the instructions are decent that come with the kits and the tech support is awesome if you have questions. I just read the instructions numerous times before I did the work so I was totally familiar with the steps.

Have mine on a 01 MM700 Yami with mild mods. I installed it 4 or 5 yrs ago for 1500 ft and 0 degrees and haven't touched it since. Runs great from Iowa to Cooke City.

Thanks M-Max, I just figured their instructions would be the same as what came with the kit so I never even though to look on their site. That picture makes it a little more clear.

Got both of them installed and the sleds still run!!! Get to try them out this weekend... HURRY UP THURSDAY!!!!!!
