Any Tampico area updates?

Looking for snow report on tampico. Would like to ride this sat or sun if possible. Just lost my riding buddy, is anyone headed up there? Ive never ridden up there before, any advice(good places, bad places). Thanks for the update.

Drove to Treephones yesterday, if you are not familiar with the area, it is about 10 miles up the Middle Fork Rd. past the ranger station on the way to Darland MT.. Some are unloading at the lower sno-park, just makes for a long road ride (ice scratchers a must). There are a couple of buddies up there today that will give me an update tonight. I myself, think it is still a little early to go up (I have a problem staying on the roads) with not enough snow cover for boondocking. email me later @ scarletrider@hotmail.com and I will give you a better update. I know of some guys going Sunday that will be glad to have you tag along...

We went 40 miles friday. Parked in the parking lot. You just had to be careful getting off the road. We are going Sunday if you want to go let me know.

The wife and I will be there on Sunday. Maiden voyage on the PRO and first ride for the wife's 07 600.

Looks like we're gonna head up as far as we can up the Little Naches to unload. Lots of road riding available there, won't be quite as tempted to jump into the toolies. Just playing it safe for a break-in ride.

Well, it wasn't the most exciting ride but nonetheless a good ride. Parked at Kaner Flats Snopark, rode up to Gov't meadows, did a little playing around in a corner of the meadow, rode part way up three mile spur and back to the truck. About 30-35 miles and I was able to get to 2.3 hrs of break-in time on the Pro. Should be ready to hit it hard next weekend. Great first impressions of the Pro, can't wait to go boondocking with it. Sorry, didn't get any action shots.
