Any sled rental places in Mammoth??

I'm coming out to snowboard at Mammoth Mnt. In March. Wondering if its worth taking a day to go riding. Does any one know of any sled rental/guides for the area.

Toronto Canada. I'm coming out to snowboard with the family. Figured if there was a down day that I could get out and ride. If its not right at the Mnt. it probably wont happen.

There are two sled rental places ... one at the main lodge and the other at the 203/395 intersection (look at map)

Both only rent trail sleds and are toured rides. (last time I asked)

Suggest trying to get someone to ride and get a loaner sled or call the local shop for a demo ride?

Snow depth is over 6 feet and is common over 10-15 feet go anywhere swnow.


Mountain skiing is at its prime with many days sold out ... over 28,000 skiers on the mountain when sold out. That is alot of money at $92 a lift ticket !!!!
