Any reviews on cheap LED strip lights

I want to put LED strip lights in my trailer. I see tons of options out there and prices really vary.

I'm leaning to toward the cheap side, but hear some of them are really bad. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these in service for a few seasons?

One of the biggest complaints I have read about with some of the cheap ones is they get rather warm and cause the adhesive to fail.

Although not in an enclosed trailer, I used LED strip lights underneath my sled deck for last couple years. Sometimes I wired them in to be on ALL the time when the truck is on. Never had a problem with them. The adhesive stayed true. Other times I wired them in with a switch. No issues there either.
I usually just bought the 2 foot strips at checker auto parts. I think you can order longer strips 6-20 feet on amazon or somewhere for cheap. For 50-100 you could have a really nice set up and you wouldnt be out too much if it doesnt work. Also with a long string you could add brackets or tape to help hold them up if you are concerned about it or if they do start to fall off.
Last thing is adhesive sticking has to do with surface prep and clean. I nice clean surface will help hold it on. Little elbow grease with some alchol cleaning solutions should do the trick.

One of the things to watch with the long strips is that they draw a lot of current, and they generally don't spec how much current. So if you use small wires to feed them, anywhere back to the battery, you can get hot wires and solder joints.
