Any opinions out there on Snoweliminators?

I have them on my 2007 M1000 and LOVE them... I also have a 2009 M8 and the stock running boards are just as good IMO. Cutler was good to deal with when we ordered them last year.

My first set was on a 900 RMK. Now I have installed them on an Edge, 2 REVs, M7 and now an M8. Love them.

Once you have had them you will never go without them ever again and they are great for stiffining up the rails.

I just ordered a set, do you guys that have 'em like them and was the company good to deal with?

Don't know about dealing with the company. I bought F-bombs "Better Boards" due to he's one of us on this site and is a stand up guy on the net and meeting him in person.

Do not buy Snow Eliminators if you have a Polaris IQ model. The raised cleats go right up to the footwells and trap your feet, very dangerous. I ended up grinding the cleats down on mine as I was worried about breaking my leg.

funny, this is why i bought them for the iq. i've never had an issue. 2 years on them so far.

Mine have been ok and I ride with size 13 Sorel moon boots .... :o

Even with that said, I wish I'd bought the better boards ... but so far the sno-eliminators have worked pretty well for me.

I'm suprised by the comments about my post, I got my foot trapped in the well twice when I got bucked off my sled. I wear a size 11 Klim Adrenaline boot and the space was very tight with the Snow Eliminators. I guess if you don't fall off it's no issue. I ground about half of the front four cleats off and have not had my foot trapped since.

Best thing you can do for snow elimination is have your tunnel powder coated. I ride a X-fire with a powder coated tunnel while my buddies riding M-7's have a "nude" tunnel. I never have issues with snow build-up while there sleds are constantly build up even WITH snow eliminators. Those of you that know Bob from Togwotee was so impressed he ripped down both his and his wife's Doo's and had them PCed. Works great plus you get a custom look!

Wow talk about a thread hijack...

just givin ya crap Rob lol, I started this thread in jest because one day there was a new thread in about 5 different categories slamming snoweliminators by somebody that thought (thinks?) he got stiffed on a set he ordered. Nobody got it though and everybody took me literally and gave their opinions.

If I could spend any mod money right now I'd definitely support a local company (Buy Idaho!) and I if I'm not mistaken you're the only one that makes a set for the old wore out GenII poo I still putt around on. (I hate them dang skinny boards!):beer;

I have snow elimenators on my dragon, really glad I have them. But next time I would for sure buy better boards. They are just better. :)
