I think I want to buy an Everest with the 146'' track, an 800 with the 2 1/4'' paddles. I had a modified AC crossfire 1000 with a 151 -2'' track, and I'm thinking I wouldn't be disappointed?
With the 16'' wide Doo track, I'd have the same surface area for flotation as the 15'' 151, no? My old sled was down to about 495 lbs dry, so would the weight difference make up for the power I'm used to? (185 hp after mods).
I find anything longer-like the 154---too hard /tiring if riding anywhere other than powder, and I'm thinking the Everest 146 would outclimb my last sled? I'm not an expert sledder and I find the shorter track more fun.
Opinions?
Thanks a lot!
