I grew up near Belleville and moved out as a child
I have been in his situation dozens of times while I lived there
Did you notice he only pushed and did not fight back
If he would have fought back I bet he would have been beaten till he did not move

Im not racist by any means. I have a 2 year old son i live in central southdakota and there is getting to be alot of black influence in town and i worry about my son in the same situation.
Put the black kid in the seat with two white kids beating on him then what would the news say.

That would been me then, but I'd have taken a few with me. That kid needed to fight like his life depended on it, eyes would have been punctured, throats smashed in. HE needed to send a message that said you take me on your gonna get hurt. Then the 2nd kid would not have gotten up to get some too. Too bad the white kid didn't fight like a hell cat with a hot poker in its azz

You can't tell me the bullys on that bus wen't emboldened by previous passive encounters with that white kid.
Obama and "his" back door racism tatics are heating up the racism in this country, and it ain't the whites who are fired up. I hope it doesn't get worse or boil into a full blown race war. If it does I blame the black entitlement people like Jesse Jackson, NAACP BET and Oprah.

Simple, teach your kids to fight back, wrestle, throw a punch. Never throw the first punch, but if someone does....beat em senseless. Some may say this isn't the right approach, I don't really care because my kids aren't bullies and I hope to hell nobody ever messes with em' including my daughter! Color doesn't matter imo
We as parents can tell them to fight back or protect themselves all we want, but they go to school and get taught to "ignore it" or "walk away". How the HE!! was that kid supposed to do either of those. If that was YOUR kid... what would your response be?? If that was your kids friend, what would your response be?? Would you put your white kid back on that bus?? Would you take matters into your own hands and head into their neighborhood looking for "justice" or sit down with your kid and tell him to respect all people and next time to put your hands over your head and protect yourself better until it's over?? I feel for that kids family, prayers out to them and hopefully he's okay.
How would the "sit down and talk it out" scenerio worked in that case???
I saw that on ONCE last night and haven't seen it since, reverse that situation and make that a black kid or Indian and getting beat up by white kids...... Not only would it be all over the news night and day but you'd have EVERY black activist preaching on TV and marching on the streets and I can almost guarantee chaos would have broke out where ever that happened with the black community looking for revenge.

Makes a guy's blood boil! Pretty sure US is the same as Canada in that there is no penalty for the crime for these precious little Ba$tards. I have 16 and 18 year old son. My 16 year old is on the bus as we speak. This were my kid I'd be out for blood....period!
However on the flip side....what has this kid done to somebody else to possibly deserve this. Maybe he's a total $hit-Rat himself and this was the final straw that lead to this beating. So I go find the father of this kid and someone tapes me laying a beating on his old man, now I'm portrayed as an A$$hole to the public even though this beating was warranted. Not saying it's right but likely more to the story than we know.

Great post. Never throw the first punch. Let someone else start it then finish it and finish it right. I fought my way home from school for about 5 years. Never started one of them.

This IS how my kids are raised. Fight back but never throw first punch. I had an issue with some kids picking on my son last year. My son came home and told me he told the teacher and the kids picked on him more. I emailed his teacher and teacher said those kids are a problem around the school. I told her my kid has been instructed to fight back. She warned me he would be expelled.
I told my son if he doesnt throw the first punch but finishes it I will be at his side defending him to the school board and had email documentation of teacher not resolving situation!
As for this epsisode. charge them with a racial hate crime!

I think you guys are just fueling the whole us against them attitude. If it were a bus full of white kids and one was picking on the other you know most everyone would ignore it. There would be no news. Kids are kids and kids fight. There have been bullies since I was in school 35 years ago.

and the (aledgedly extinct) Black Panther's.
30 years ago 250,000 people lived there and today it is less than 30,000.
30 years ago it was 90% with and the rest black. Today it is 90% black and the rest white.
The kids family are so poor and ignorant they probably work at minimum wage and live on inherited property.
When they apply for any program they are denied cause they are not a minority. Plus if the don't go to a "black" church they are shunned and or get racial epithets on their car, house yard etc.
The biggest business is government alcohol, tobacco, prostitution and farming.
And I know if he fought back he would have been beatren unconscious. Lost an eye, brain damage, shot, stabbed, broken bones, cut off his privates whatever the group thought for him not taking the beating.
He was beaten for sitting in the same seat as a black kid. He sat there because the bus driver told him.

I read they fired the bus driver.
Suspended anyone who hit the kid for 5 days.
It will be interesting to see if the ACLU or similar organization comes in and represents the beaten up child and gets him some money so to go to another school. Not that the other school will be any better unless ity is 40 miles away out in the farmland.
The kids should have been booted off the bus forever.Id be having a talk with the parents thats for sure.
What's up with the pu$$y a$$ kids today anyway? When I was in school if 2 kids wanted to fight they just duked it out. We didn't need 2 of us to go beat on one. And chances are by the next week the kid you wanted to beat senseless was one of your buddies. Nice to see the rest of the sheep just cheered it on. Back in my hometown an attack like that would have gotten the bullies beat on daily by the rest of the school for the rest of the year.
So the correct answer is to just nuke the whole area

I can't say that I have ever witnessed any of your examples of behavior in our schools and that is the way it will stay (in Idaho) because I can guarantee you one thing, we won't let people come in and change the way of life we have like what you say has happened here, its a system of checks and balances.....I don't deal well with stupid uneducated idiots doing useless acts that harm others, their means to an end is eventually prison unless someone gets to them first, hence the comment "nuke em" What was this kid doing in this situation then? He need a dial a dad?
