any one know of a good place to get some 2010 to current nytro spindles ?

need a set of the current spindles for my nytro . bought the skinz front end last year . they didn't tell me that they weren't made for the 08 spindles . Anyone know of some one with a set kicking around ? thanks

I have heard that you can use the 08 spindles but you have to swop sides. Put the right on the left side and the left on the right side. That moved the turning buckle to the other side so that the steering rods will reach. you also need to clearance one of the corners so they wont hit when you turn the handle bars sharply and run the suspension through the travel. You can tell by looking at them which corner will hit. The spindle has one of the top corners beveled. If you cant find '10's Just a thought

I have them on back words right now . It made the steering real twitchy feeling . not gonna work for me . Skinz COULD step up and sell some 1/2 longer tie rods and fix this unsafe set up too . I will have a look on e bay .

They reason why they don't work with the older spindles has to do with the mounting tab . On the older sleds the tie rod mounting point is off set to the out side . the new sleds they are centered . the problem is that you only get a few threads in each end of the tie rod ,not cool .

That is good to know Pylon. I am with you for a kit that is suppose to make such a difference in handling on the nytro you would think they would have stepped up and made something that would work for those of us who have older nytro's I know there was one person who made his own tie rods to fit his 08 spindles.

For some of us having to buy spindles on top of a already high priced front kit as it is a little hard to understand. Especailly looking at that fact there are other kits now that include spindles for nearly the same price of skinz kit without spindles. Not saying their kit is not worth and i can appreciate the effort it took to get the kit out there.
