Any Onan generator experts here?

Having some trouble with the generator in my toyhauler thought I'd see if anyone here might offer some advise.

It won't start unless I manually hold the choke open and dies immediately if I let it go. The light on the starter switch blinks (I think 5 times) if I try to start it without holding the choke.

Needs the carb cleaned out. The Kohler gensets in boats do the exact same thing when their carbs get dirty.

Kinda what I thought !I never had a problem till Guess when ?? Ethanol fuel !! F@@king garbage!

Get some seafoam from autozone and pour some in the fuel tank. Its surprising how well it works on cleaning gummy parts.
