So there are multiple "fix"kits on the snow and have been for a year or two now. I don't hear of anyone having any problems once installed. Anyone hear anything.

The only ones i heard of going down was the ones that were installed on the cfi4 engines. I heard that from my local rec shop but nothing so far on the cfi 2 engines.

The only ones I have heard of is 2 with the ebay fix kit with the sno x pistons. These were both on cfi-4"s Both also could've been from installer error. Cylinders weren't checked or honed before installation of kit.

My Bikeman Kit is running strong, No issues after a week of hard running out at Cooke.

I have the RK Tec drop in kit in a 2011. Only 150 miles so far, so I can't really judge on reliability. BUT - I will tell you that this kit is surprising! After a trail ride for break in, finally got into some decent snow on Wednesday. Actually fell off twice because I wasn't ready for how hard it came out of the hole. No complaints at all at this point. Can't wait to get it out again soon!

Thanks Kelsey!

700 miles on a mtntk problem free, installed at the start of this season on a 2000 mile 2013

BMP FixKit

I installed the BMP Kit this year and put about 300 miles of hRd riding on the kit with no issues, i also turned my oiler up 2 turns durring the process

Does the mtntk kit on a 2013 require a fuel controller?
Not if it's the only thing your doing... high comp head, pipe, etc probably will depending on elevation and fuel. I was told by a shop I trust, as well as MTNTK to run it on eth setting and go.... haven't thrown a det yet

So which pros are really having issues? Im shopping for a pro now, sold the m8.
Ive seen some clean low mile 11's and even been temped on a 12. Id really like a 13 but if i spend that much I might as well buy a 14.Any thoughts ? And price is importand this time of year for me.

I have a 13 no problems other than the throttle block breaking, fun sled,i don't see the 14 being any better

Common people try to stay on topic. OP and others reading this are only interested in hearing about fix kits durability NOT anything else, not nice to highjack someone else's thread
