Any Kits Availabile To Rid 03 Rev Beavertail??

I Just Bought My Wife A 03 Mxz 600ho That Has That Beavertail Back End. Just Wondering If There Are Any Kits Available To Get Rid Of It? Also Like To Know About Extending It To A 136?

Ski-Doo actually makes a kit to give the 03-05 revs the same rear end as on 06-07. Removes the rack on the back and givves it the new tail light. you could also find a used seat off of a 06-07....not positive if it would fit. Or if you want to spend the money you could buy a boss to get that clean look in the rear.

i have a 136 skid out of a 07mxz 600 its like new and i also have the complete tunnel it may have everything you need to do what you want.......pm me if your interested the sled only had 200 miles on it......

this would be for the Summit models...This topic is on the 2003 MXZ 121" with the Beavertail...

There are lots of kits to get rid of it...

I went through this myself. I found that there is a complete "beaver delete" conversion available. It is an aftermarket product and you can find it by "googling" on "beaver delete kit". The cost for the kit is about $250.00.

A dealer here in Maine quoted me around $500+ parts/labor to do the job.

When I asked if there are any known issues in with the kits....they told me there may be cooling problems. Apparently the problem is because the conversion kit does not include extenders for the heat exchangers as well.

They told me that the over heating will most likely occur in hard pack conditions....On the flip side.....of the conversions they have done, some folks have never had an issue.
