Just curious to see if there are any guitarists on here and what style you play and your gear. I've been playing for about 2 years now, and lately I've been studying theory a lot lately, or get an understanding of how the whole deal works haha.

Currently playing a stratocaster into a digitech RP250 into a ssb enforcer amp (sh*tty amp my brother passed down to me) and marshall vintage cabinet. Works ok for what I do. I'm hoping to buy a Dean here pretty soon:cool:.

Oh and getting a high score on guitar hero doesn't count:rolleyes::p

I have been playing off and on for about 15 yrs. now
lost my teacher(ex-brother in-law) a few years ago and got bored by not learning anything new any more so I quit playing for awhile.
been getting back into it again and now that I am not drowning in booze or jacked on sheet,it's a heck of a lot of fun.

right now I have a Kramer berreta, playing through a little marshall practice amp.and I have a Martin acoustic for the more mellow stuff.
would like to get an epiphone les paul, black with gold hardware.
dream guitar is a nice PRS;)

and I allso got high score on guitar hero:D

I was in a band back in my college days. It was fun, but it really cut into you sledding/hunting/fishing time.

I still play frequently, but always with the radio. I never learned how to read music very well and I usually am able to pick things up by ear. I have a custom made electric (strat based) and a Crate Amp. I also have a crappy acoustic that I am looking at upgrading with a Martin or simmilar. Play almost anything, but I like new and classic rock and Mark Knopfler most of all.

hard drive'in blues is what i like to play, also have to add stuff like ac/dc thunder and the cult [not blue oyster] i have one of 4 custom red rockers, 1 was made for robin zanders and the custom shop put out three more, right time and place it was exactly what i wanted, also play an ernie ball axis. amps hughes and kettner, kendrick 35, and crate acoustic love to play, too bad buisness consumes me im self taught also put a cd through the pa and play with the pros, as for live theres nothing better then when you know you are entertaing people and can bend there knees with a good riff. boy do i miss playing

I've been playing for about 22yrs. Still not very good at it. I never took lessons nor can I read music. I do it for fun, I don't plan to be a Chet Atkins
or Randy Rhoads. I play the blues, country, rock and metal all on a Martin
D-15. I hope to one day buy me a Martin D-28-12. A nice 60's Strat. would
sound pertty too!
