Any Goose Hunters from Front Range?

Just wondering who else along the Front Range likes to hunt geese when they're not snowmobiling?
Between goose hunting & snowmobiling I don't know if I'll be able to find time to go to work this season, might be sick a lot

I love waterfowl hunting been at it for nearly 20 years. I'm just now moving to the area. When does the season run in CO? I've gotta get out at least once this year and it doesn't look like I'm going back to MN to hunt this year.

The opening day depends on what part of CO you hunt. October 4th is the first day for a lot of areas....that's also the day of the Denver Snowmobile show, so it looks like I'll be missing opening day.

I love to smack the quackers and honkers!(though the Canada geese are referred to as skycarp where I was raised) Still have all my gear in the midwest though decs/boat/waders/etc... Have been out here for a few years but haven't hunted waterfowl here in CO yet. I've been going back with friends the last 2 seasons. I'd definitely be interested in becoming westernized. Have heard it's great field hunting, many ducks mixed in?
