Any good kids gloves???

I have tried about 3 different kinds of gloves for my kids and their hands always end up getting cold still. Has anyone had good results with any kids gloves?

When my kids were small I put them in mittens. They seemed to be warmer for them. When it was really cold, I put glove liners on their hands first and then some warmers inside the gloves. Good memories....my kids in front of me on the sled....busting deep, new pow to get to the cabin, and them falling asleep during the ride in....like having a 20-30 lb. bag of rice in front of you.

Under 4 it seem the mittens work best, they move their fingers more than with gloves.

The best I have seen for under $20 are the Head ones at Costco right now. They have a long cuff to cover the sleeve and seem to fit well. Best thing is to have two pair, cuz no matter what, kids will get their gloves wet.

Try IFA I just bought some for my niece. They are mittens with glove liner, they are all elk skin and you just have to treat the with mink oil to water proof.

Klim all the way for the 6 and 8! Mine are 6 and 8 now and have never said their hands were cold but they were big on my son till this yr.

For the 4 yr old what I did was had about 10 pair of those teeny finger gloves you can get for $.99. Double them if it's super cold and just keep swapping them out when they get wet. I bet I have a hundred pairs of those and half are miss matched:)

If your sledden I also heard of guys wiring in a set of earners onto the mtn bar then tape em up with black electrical tape. I always thought of doing that but never got around to it.

costco gloves and mittens are hard to beat for the money. I have Klim for one kid, but he was cold by the end of the day, the same as the rest. I have learned to bring hand warmers and put one in each glove and they can go all day.

Cabela's Kid's GORE-TEX Thinsulate Mittens. Then if it's real cold use a glove liner inside. They are Gore-Tex so they stay dry, I just picked some up on sale for $29.00.

Enjoy every second of these days! My oldest is now a senior in high school, and my son will be in high school next year. It seems like yesterday I was asking these same questions.....

I agree with mittens and a spare pair. I always have hand warmers in my pockets for the kids as well. It's great when they start riding their own sled with their own warmers on the sled. :face-icon-small-win
I try to keep their extra pair of gloves/mittens in my goggle bag that I have under my hood. Once their hands get cold it's a bugger getting them warm with cold gloves to put on. :tea:

I will have to try the warmers. Not sure why I haven't thought of that. My daughter is riding her own sled and does fine now but my boys are always cold. There is nothing better then riding with the kids and watching them learn how to ride. My 6 year old rather ride with then drive our bravo because he likes to go "full throttle". Priceless
