My fishing trip to Alaska really got the fishing bug back in me, anybody else in here like to fish? I used to fish Willard a couple times a week, the Wipers out there are the funnest fish I have ever caught, they are incredible fighters! Anybody want to go out on Willard with me?

When are you going to throw up the Pic from your Alaska trip?;) :):D :):beer;

oh ya, love to fish but mostly small mountain streams that I have to bush wack to get into only to catch a 9" brooky. But finding those little honey holes is what keeps me bush wacking away....

X2. That is some of the funnest fishing there is. I'm headed into the Henry's Fork Basin next week and will be bushwacking for a meal or two. Fresh Brookies cooked on a stick over an open fire is hard to beat when you're roughing it for a week!

The picture is of one of my good friends on our 50 mile hike last year cooking a Brookie.

I didn't know you guys wanted to see pics from Alaska :). I will post some then.

I'm with BossRev on the bushwacking to get to the trout. There is a stream up here in ID that don't get alot of travel due to having to walk away from the road and you can tear up the Cutts up that river really good with a prince nymph. The river is usually to fast til about this time of year but once it calms down, man oh man it kicks a$$ catching those Cutts.

I see nothing but good come from this.

Place: Tibble Fork Res.
Meet at 5:00. I ride while you fish. You cook while I load and down a couple cold ones. It's a win win.:face-icon-small-win:beer;:beer;:beer;

Never mind, those planters suck.
Just bring a bike.

I fish as much as I can Monday Tuesday and Wednesdays
I fish Causey, East Canyon, South Fork of the Ogden, the Weber anywhere I can throw a fly or cast a bait.

TIme to bust them out.:face-icon-small-coo

very true. I love seeing AK pics even more the UT pics,

Oh and yes I love to fish. Someday I get back out west to chase trout. However I will be doing it the lazy way with a spinner rod. Haven't tried to cast a fly in years. Bet I could make a nice rats nest though.

Fishing is my summer time addiction. I spend a lot of time on Strawberry in the float boat.

How's the fishing been on the berry? I was thinking of going up there this weekend.

Front the float boat, so-so. Early morning or late at night. Lake is slow to turn over this year.

We caught a few at Henry's lake Monday, the big Cut was 13 lbs and 32" long
