Any experience tuning an Attitude box? M/Xfire 800

Hey guys,

have an 09 Xfire 800sp with SLP full pipe running 0-2000ft. I am not over concerned with the pipe on 91, but might needs to occasionally run 87. So picked up a Attitude Gen3.2 controller to help offset this. It has the ability to Offset tune (straight number) or Percentage tune.

I have done a bunch of reading and homework on what tuner to pick, and this one jumped out at me for its ability to stay consistent with Elevation and temp changes since it doesnt over ride the ECU, but works with it and adds on top of what teh ECU is calling for. Any experience tuning these in? Anyone have a basic tune to start for my application. Derek at Attitude is going to set me up with a starting point, but there is going to be some playing around to happen to fully dial it in.

I do not have AFR gauges or probes and am going to tune to plug and wash... should I be weary of this?

Im running a full SLP pipe kit with a BDX intake. Also installed a AEM A/F gage very easy to tune with my attitude box!! Just read the # on the gage and tune accordingly!! Worth the $ for simplicity!!

ran it last year

08 m8 airbox,reeds,pipe,Y, can, attitude box

the map is hardly different from stock , derrick will give you some good number and i doubt you will change it much from there.

from the hip it was like - 1 accross everything then just + some on top and mid

but get the numbers from derrick , , easy to tune with it np
