Delete the Emissions crap and let it run as it should, or leave it and get replacement turbos every time they plug up?

Delete !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gained 4 mpg. Just need a edge to clear codes and a delete pipe from H&S

if you cant clear the codes it will go into limp mode and run like an XP, but your MPG will go from 14 to 22 overnight, plus it is a federal offense to mess with it!!!!

Look at BADP with their new gen2 DPF delete kit, block the egr, edge juice then wait for Marco to finish the SMARTY, dave goerand TC and VB and your all set!

Are you boys having any issues with this setup at all? I have an '07 5.9, and it's got almost 85000 kms on it. When it comes time to replace it next year, I have no idea what i'll do. I was thinking 6.7, but wanted to hear mileage reports from guys, and see if they were having any issues with this set up. Have any of you owned a 5.9 before, and now own a 6.7? If so, do you miss your 5.9, or do you think that the 6.7 would be the way to go in my case?

Thanks boys!

I'm pissed. Currently averaging 13.74mpg in this 6.7. Traded in a 20+mpg Duramax :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Progress, my a$s

First off how many miles on it? 5-10K miles is what it takes minimum for these motors to loosen up. Also drive the chit outta it!

They are all in the same boat chevy,ford, dodge, cleaner emmisions, caused by more heat in the exhaust from regen's of the DPF which uses more fuel. Makes the greenies happy, oil co's happy, govt happy, and us getting screwed!

Put on a DPF delete kit, and block the EGR (a plate underneth where the intake horn goes into the head on the drivers side) You mileage will shoot right up!

Ya i sold my 6.7 to back to a 5.9 much happer. My 6.7 with mods would make 1400 to 1600 EGT's going up a hill with no load

I own/have owned both 5.9/6.7L's in 3/4T megacabs.

You have your normal pro's and cons with this. The biggest with the new 6.7 is the emmisions junk on it. The 6.7 is a beast without it. But the dealer will rape you and void everything if they catch you with the dpf and egr taken off.

5.9 is solid. Put a smarty on it and run. Return it to stock and take the smarty off when going to the dealer. Easy.

Power wise, i think my 6.7 has more power stock then my 5.9's. The new auto and the exaust break are almost worth the upgrades alone.
