Any Boosted Nytro's Other Than Mcx?

I here there's a few more slowly hitting the snow. Alpine, Impulse, synergy,Parkers etc. Not sure how they work but if its anything like the mcx kits they'll be stoked!

Talked with Randy Swenson, Darko, and two other guys with them on MCXpress, and working good. Also talked to a guy running a Alpine prototype @14lbs boost, and said it was working good.

I saw pics of Outlaw Motorsports BD setup. It is one killer looking sled! Would like to run the exhaust I put on so.....front mount research time.

Anyone seen Outlaw's orange Nytro up close?

^^^^^^^^^I agree. But, they all had to start somewhere.

I should step back and ask a stupid question. Can the exhaust be used with a front mount? I was going on the assumption that you could fab a pipe to use the silencer.

Looking for feedback and pics of anyone whose running turbos other than Mcx on their Nytro.

I have been running the Impulse kit since november, and it rips. The snow in Alaska has been skimpy, but I have still been able to put almost 400 miles on the Nytro (250 turbo miles).

I've seen your posts over in TY 4strk (I believe). How about an indepth post or pm w/pics? How much boost are you running & hp, for starters?

I think if you want to use your current exhaust the rear mounts would be the best option. Most front mounts from what I've seen have tunnel dumps or very short exhaust setups. Going off of the apex chasis, this is also the case.:rolleyes:

My silencer has the same ID on the inlet and the same length as the stock muffler. Will that work?

Not sure. It might be too long after putting the turbo in there. Haven't got my sled and stock parts back to know for sure yet.

Darko might have an answer for you, since he has been changing around the MCX exhaust to be a tunnel dump.

im running an impulse turbo set up and have been on the snow for 500km with it . Its a super nice kit and comes with a bigger fuel tank which is a huge bounus . Id say the best thing about the kit though is the support you get from paul over at impulse though !:beer;

We ran the Alpine kit for 3 days. The first day we pushed the throttle bodies off and could not make boost. I should have glued them on when I installed (whoops). Pulled throttle bodies next morning in the trailer, cleaned the boots with brake clean and removed the buckets from the clamps. Put her all back together and first pull up the trail... 20 lbs boost. So turn controller down and get it up top, and now makes 15 lbs boost and rippin fast. There is no heating issues at all and throttle response is great. I have the 28rs turbo. I will try to post pics today when I unload the trailer.

Thought about shooting him an email but I know he gets a million.
