Any body riding in north idaho?

I have been hunting southwest of Sandpoint on the Idaho/Montana border where the altitude is just over 6,000 feet and as of last Saturday there was about 8" of snow at that elevation. It snowed Saturday night and Sunday night but may be raining now. Temps really warmed up. My son hunted north of Bonners Ferry and said there was no snow where he was hunting at. Looks like it will be quite some time before we will be riding. :face-icon-small-fro

schweitzer basin sno tel is showing 34 inches. i would think trestle creek would have enough for a rode ride maybe ??

Yeah might be able to, but will probably have to drive up a ways to hit the snow line.

I rode sunday just south of St. Maries, bout 24-30in, enough for a good road ride though.

road roman nose saturday november 24 and there was 4.5 to 5 feet once you got up high enuf it was actully pretty good tree riding

I live at the base of Roman Nose....I think you better get your measuring tape back out and check again.:sorry:

Went to trestle creek Yesterday 12/5/12. Had to drive up almost to the 3rd switchback to unload. The snow up to the 1st plaground was icy and crap.
The arctic cats didnt like it. We proceeded to head towards moose lake.
As soon as we started down the road past 1st play area it was ridable.

There was about 2-3 foot on the roads there. Not too many areas opened up to ride in the trees yet! But it is snowin in twin lakes all day today:face-icon-small-hap

NOTE: THE 2ND BRIDGE TO MOOSE LAKE IS BUSTED IN HALF LAYING IN CREEK!!! ITS A LITTLE TRICKY TO RIDE THERE IS A FEW RUNOFF DITCHES TO CROSS. ALSO THERE IS A FOOT BRIDGE NOT WIDE ENOUGH FOR A SLED TO CROSS

Planning on heading again this Sat if it keeps snowing. need to check a few things out on a few more sleds

Oh, what 4 days will do for ya! Yesterday was pretty good! This is Trestle above the main trail.

Still needs more snow, but it's getting better. This is the climb right above the shortcut.

was up at trestle sat as well. Still trees and stumps sticking out.
It was WAY bettter then on wed. At least 2 more feet of snow.
Moose lake is still not froze. had a buddy that found slush in a few spots, but it was ridable!

Was at Trestle yesterday. Snow is good. The road to the first playgrond is good. some drifts and big woops and downed trees. Snow is good, BUT no base under it.

Most the stumps and trees are coverd up. Didnt make it to moose or anywhere too special. was foggy and was snowing so visibility was low
