Any Apple gurus out there?

I've got a first gen. I-pod, and I'm having trouble syncing it. It works ok, but it won't let me sync 65 of the songs that I've purchased through the apple store. I hooked up a new computer, and I can't get those songs back on my I-pod for some reason. It says I have to authorize my computer, and I've done that several times. I even deauthorized, and authorized it again. I just keep getting a message that I can't get those songs back until I authorize this computer. There on my I-tunes playlist, but they won't transfer over to the I-pod. Anybody have any ideas?
