Anti-stab kit breaking and stabbing. Heard of this?

Someone told me the other day that there were cases of the anti-stab kit breaking and wrecking tracks.
Has anyone heard of this?

A guy I know wasted his new Power Claw and rails last season running without one.
I'm adding a new PC too and would hate to have that happen to me so I was going to add the kit, but now I'm wondering if it will be the source of another potential disaster.

This thread was about an issue with the inner idler wheel, I don't think anyone in that thread mentioned a problem with the anti-stab kit. Never heard of an issue myself.

That inner wheel kit must be what they meant. When looking at those pictures I can't see how the anti-stab could take a hit hard enough to waste it.

I believe Modsledr had an incident last season with is anti-stab kit breaking and subsequently stabbing his track on his Nytro. I have a Dragon, and I'm planning on running a kit since I'm going with Avid extrovert drivers. I want to look into that kit a couple posts up.

That looks awsome, but it's too narrow for a cat, and I think the rails are different?
