Anti Ratchets 2005 - 2006

So on the Avid Web site they list the 2005 Anti Rachets for my 900 diffrent from 2006.

Is it because of the motor location , is the shaft diffrent ?

I am looking for a Used Set of Anti Ratchets for my 2005 900 166.

Do I really need this Anti Stab Kit ?

Beleive chaincase is different in location. And yes an anti stab kit is a good idea!!

put the extroverts on my 05 and no stab kit beat the crap out of it jumping etc and all is good had to shorten rails flip end caps and shorten end caps by 3/4 of an inch

anti ratchets 2005-2006

The splines on the clutch side of the '06 and newer don't go as far as they do in '05. The clutch side has to be machined out 1.8" on '06 and newer. The new 2011 Polaris will have to have a driver like the M Series Cats. The rush style shaft tapers on both ends. Robbie

New they are spendy.

I have my track really tight now rarely ratchets. Don't like it like that.
