Took my 07 summit adreanaline out yesterday on the snow creek loop near Ashton ID. I had Island park adventures service team do the preseason this year (again) and couldn't be happier. My 07 was Idleing too high and my clutches needed cleaned. My rev rips like new again! I had some worn rollers in the tra that they replaced and set my suspension a bit stiffer, also did the basic preseason stuff and gave my sled a good look. I tell you guys, If your rev isn't dessimating all sleds built prior to 2007, you don't have it set up right! Out of the box, I had issues with my rpm diving when I hit a hill, it wouldn't hold the 8150 (or so) rpm that it should when highmarking. Mike at island park adventures did a stage 1 performance tune and I have never looked back...(except at the guys I leave lower on the mountain) Although I only ride with 1 friend with an 08 xp, nothing messes with my rev on a hill. I have read many posts saying numerous problems with clutches, and motors. I did have a failure of a piston about 400 miles ago, but Doo warrantied the piston and jug. I also ride with a friend who has an 09 hcr cat 800. this sled has lot's of promise and I enjoyed riding it, but I'm not changing brands..I havent had an oppourtunity to ride the 09 or 2010 xp's yet but I am anxious to do so. For this season, I will definetly be gripping and ripping on my 07 adreanaline!
