What do you think of the wash? Any suggestions?

After tuning in the sled for the 2012 ecu flash I am seeing slightly higher numbers now.

I used to be around 1140ish on a climb, but now I'm hitting closer to 12 consistently, and the high temps come in quicker than they did before. Have yet to see over 1210 though but not doing any big pulls yet. We'll see.

So, what are you guys commonly seeing as a comfortable WOT big pull temp?

Dale is so conservative, I'm pretty sue he told me to keep it under 600:face-icon-small-ton (he told me to stay under 1200) but I'm curious what other people are finding is a sweet spot? My 1000's I consistently ran around 100 deg hotter (N/A sleds, seemed to like 1240 to 1260 or so).. but this is my first turbo with EGT's. Finding I prefer them to AFR really.

Good to hear.

I'm not much of a tuner, I spent more time tuning after the flash (about 5 min a day for 3 days) than I did all last year!! Found a decent spot & left it there.

Hopefully the next 1700 miles treats me as well as the last!:face-icon-small-hap

i can only hope my pistons look that good.
i try and keep my egt's around the 1200 range as well, they will go a little over but i try and keep it around the 1150-1200 mark on a long pull.

looks good to me...
