Another suspected track stabbing victim

We were riding the other day and my brother who bought an 08 m1000 leftover hit a small jump which resulted in the pictured carnage. Earlier in the day, i noticed he was missing one crossbar on the track. I think when he hit the jump, he hit it in such a way that the missing bar caught on the front of the rail. Wasn't all bad though - it happend at the end of the day, called the AC dealer from the truck, got a brand new 162 powerclaw and had it installed that night. He much prefers the powerclaw over the challenger.

lucky he didn't wreck the rails or front arm. That's what I call throttle control!

He did bend the front rails to the side about 3/4 of an inch. We didn't realize it until we got the whole thing back together. We hooked up a come along and warmed up the rails with a torch and pulled them over. They are still a little bent, but probably within an 1/8". The old track totally trashed the limiter strap cross barr though.

high performance engineering has a whal bros two wheel kit for less than $50 that works awesome as a simple anti-stab so that t doesn't happen again. watch that power claw stretch if you run it loose when new may end up your rails again...
