Another Shooting & the Politics of it

First of all, that's hearsay and false. The AR-15 was designed as, and sold as a civilian arm, the civilian version of the M-16. However, even if it was true, so what. German shepherds were bred (designed) to be police/military dogs, Pit bulls to be fighting dogs, does that mean tat they should be banned for ownership by civilians??. It's not what something was "designed" for that matters, it's what it is USED for and that falls on the user not the item used.

More food for thought, virtually ALL mass shooting occur in "gun free zones", gun laws vary from state to state and even city to city and the jurisdictions with the strictest gun laws have the highest gun death rates, those with the most lack gun laws, the lowest.

As far as animals go, Bees (and varieties thereof) are the number 1 killer in the us (mainly from anaphylactic shock) Deer come in a close second. Dogs & Cows are about equal for 3rd. Also the deer population of north America skyrocketed in the 20th century from about 300,000 to about 30,000,000. Expand hunting season. Make hunting licenses & deer tags cheaper. It could save lives. :)

Uhmm, don't know where you got your number for deer, but it seems like the numbers should be switched.
Switched?, no. I don't know how accurate those actual numbers are but it is well documented that white tailed deere were threatened to a degree at the turn of the century (1900) and today it is estimated that there are more WT deer in the USA today than when Columbus landed.
