another rx1 problem!!!??

soo I hate wiring so if i can get some insight to what is wrong that would be great. yesterday my taillight and dash quit working could be unrelated haven't even looked yet but it popped the 10 amp fuse then the 20 amp i replaced it with so i assume there is too much load on the circuit as it didn't pop right away like it would with a short. unless the wire bounced up and grounded out. anybody else ever have this problem. i have the wildchild rider forward, removed my headlight pod and installed the rubbermaid airbox. I added a tether also but i dont think that has any affect. any ideas?? thanks

same thing happened to my frends rs vector after he tipped it over, tail lite and dash went out and the the engine sputtered and not running on all 3 cylinders.

mine runs great ran the rest of the day till i bent my rails. it must be those damn gremlins

check the the three big plugs up front that go into the 2 boxs the cdi & rectifier they look like this.

they get water in them & your gauge pod will be the first to go out.blow them out let them dry & put dielectric grease in them.

Ill try that. but it was in a dry shop for a week since last riding and it was a dry day not even powder but i will check that out.
