Another Long Track Sno Scoot

Just finished up my boys long track build. We have had the scoot a few years now and had done some basic mods but decided to go full longtrack.

1989 Sno Scoot SV80
Previous Mods
  • Added electric start
  • KX80 Carb and twist throttle
  • AGM Battery (not really a mod)
  • Oil injection delete (just run mix)
Longtrack Build
  • 136x12 Snohawk Track (cut to 121")
  • Polaris Indy tunnel back 3/4 (sectioned down to 15" wide)
  • Yamaha 121" skid - mostly unmodified to fit (new red slides)
  • 2.52 track drive cogs with custom insert for Sno Scoot square drive shaft
  • Yamaha Apex Hydraulic brake lever and caliper - stock disk
    • Fabricated brake cover to fit over larger hydraulic caliper
  • 4" raised White MotoX handlebars
  • Gray/Red grips
  • Gray/Red/Black digital camo Wrap.
Now we just need some snow!!

Love the overall look of the scoot! Sweet job on the long track as well. Thanks for sharing. I'm just now debating on doing a motor swap in my scoot. Ever looked into that at all? I got 2 sports to keep the kids from hating me too bad that the scoots gonna be down for awhile. Looking at putting a short case GY6 150cc in it.

That is one sweet looking sled!
I started amassing parts for a snoscoot build but realized had too many projects so she's in a pile in the shed. Poor thing, someone really needs to build it up and save another one of these.
