Another Great Product for your Polaris Pro from Team

We have found that the Pro engine's powerband is such that the 10 series (stock) weights struggle a bit. Yes, they work, but can be touchy at times.

We have been testing the Rooster Weights from Team Industries and found these weights to be exceptional in all aspects!

While I have never been a fan of adjustable weights, Team has gotten these right. They Simply work and work VERY well..

With these weights you are able to properly "profile" the weight to fit the engine's "personality".. This is HUGE when ridinginthe steep and deep.

So, just a shout out to Team for a great product!

I would highly recommend anybody riding a Pro to get a set of these weights.

The series 10 weights have been around for a very long time... used on XLT's, 900's, BB-800's etc..

The engines, and how they make power, the fueling systems, tracks, secondarys, drive systems have changed... but the series 10 weights have not.

I think that there is good reason in looking at different weight options as the optimal "tool" to get more out of your particular sled.

Team is known for their quality in mfg.

Ive got the Rooster 56-76g from last year but havent tried them yet.
Do you think the 65-80g will be better to start with?

Switchback Assault 800, RK Tek drop in kit, AAEN pipe.
Riding mostly up to 3000ft. with 10 series, 68-72g.

Thanks Kelsey.

I've got stockers in mine and not quite pulling enough Rs. Would like to be up about 200.

Sidetrack: I've got some brand new Hammer Time weights in a box. Been sitting on my shelf since I got them (couldn't put them in my old primary because it wasn't notched to fit them.)

I'd love to see if they will work in these new engines in conjunction with the TIED secondary.

Here is the way I view it with adjustable weights.. If you know about what 10 series grams weights you need, I would drop about 5-6 grams off that weight and that would be the LOWEST Rooster weight you should start with.. So, for eexample, if you know you should be running 62 gram weights (62-5=57) so, I would want rooster weights that have a start weight in the 57 gram range.
This way you can load them up in the heel , very heavy, and then work on getting a profile that suits your engine.

profile change?

so is the profile actually adjustable? obviously the weight can be changed or moved, but i am curious of how they are adjusting the profile. its hard to tell from the pic of of the link above.

These weights have the same profile as the Series 10 weights. All you can adjust is where the weight is placed and how much of it. I think they are nice weights(I run them) but its not like these are life changing.

One thing to note is you can only get the weight so close to the heel because you are limited by the location of the hole... So you can only load weight so close to the heel...
I noticed this by having a set if roosters loaded heavy in the heel , took them out put a set of true heel heavy weights in, and the non adjustable heal heavys were much better IMO. I preferred the heavy heal non adjustable..
Have a set of roosters I would sell if anyone's intrested.

OK,,,

I highly recommend that these Team Rooster Weights be installed on ANY Pro or Dragon ride.
They are absolutely fantastic with our Drop In or 858 Kit!!

So, I have worked out a deal with Team to get these weights to you guys at a highly discounted price.

We would like to offer these weights with EVERY Drop In or 858 Kit. We, honestly, feel that they are that good!

So, we are able to offer these with every RK Tek Product at a HIGHLY discounted price. The price will be cheap(Call for pricing) We have not finalized all the details as of yet...
So, this is great news!!

Why not get a higher lbs at 1.18" spring?
