SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort has extended the ski and snowboard season through June 20.

The resort says that if conditions permit, it will open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus Monday's Memorial Day holiday.

The extension would mean 190 days of skiing in the 2009-10 season. In 2004-05 Snowbird stayed open for 201 days, until July 4.

The mid-mountain base is 123 inches following Monday's storm. On Monday the resort also surpassed 600 inches for the season for the third year in a row.

Snowbird is offering skiing from the Tram, Little Cloud and Mineral Basin Express.
