I hear ya freak. I was up yesterday in the clouds. We still had a good time but man today would have been nice. Why can't it ever be sunny on a saturday?

You can both kiss my a$$ Im in St.George, going to Zions!

Just got back brother, and may i say in was CRAZY. One of the funnest weeks of my life. Went down there with a sleeping bag, and a small duffle bag. Spring Break in St. George:D We would swim all day, and then we would chill all night, cruise around, go to the parties at the dixie state basketball court, and in the process find chics that would let us crash on the floor of their condo or hotel for the night (We did have to sleep in a park one night, lol). Wake up use their swimming pool and their shower, then start the whole process over ;)

BTW Sandhollow is still way way too COLD!

Ill never go to sandhollow again until they figure out that damm bug in the water. we had a reunion there and all the kids got hundreds of bites, it sucked.

We crashed at some girls from Alta condo one night, they had a little blow up raft thing with a little motor on the back. We took it out there the next morning. Well it ran out of gas, lol, and like deflated, so we had to swim it to the shore. I almost froze to death, lol, the whole week was non stop with excitement, haha.

ahhh to be young again.... I lived in St George growing up but we still got a hotel room at the 4 seasons each year and acted like we were from outta town. Had some wild times. That was the greatest weekend of the year for the teens in George!

I tried to ride today..

and it didn't go well.

Fueling the Sleds I notices I've lost a lug in the middle of my XP's track.. hole the size of my fist right through.. reading I see a few have done this.. I'll be ordering a Camo Extreme 2.5.. multi-ply to replace the single ply.. adds weight but I ride in the rocks and trees and can't lose a track every season.. the damaged one has less the 400 miles on it. Parked the XP and loaded the M8..

Tink and I off-loaded at Soapstone and decided to go to Wolf Creek from there.. Tink hit a mogul wrong on the way up the switch backs and jerks her neck.. 3+ years after the car accident that was all it took to put her out of commission the rest of the day.. I got just 10 miles on the sleds by the time I got the loaded back up..

145 miles in the truck; 10 miles on the sleds; Tink down all day with drugs and heating pad..

But it was a beautiful day...

Saturday up north was not bad at all.
Unloaded in franklin, looked like it rained in the canyon and low elevations.
headed up to steam mill/tony grove.
Got about 3/4 of the way up and I didn't judge the snow very well.
Went for a climb just before steam mill... Fairly mellow but steep chute then opens up on top... Well, I got cocky and stayed out of the trail (musta been turbos) had a chance to turn out but thought I would make it once I got back in a track... Nope!
Stuck it good, no where to go... 45 minutes to an hour later I had shoveled a patio big enough for a BBQ!
Decided not to do that again... I just hope someone doesn't try to go up it... They will hit a 5 foot wall if they do!
Snow was good up towards tony's... 6-8" of pow, decent weather... Slightly overcast and flat light at times, but overall good riding.
only a week or 2 left parking in the lots.
Once everyone quits riding I will get my bro to help post my pics from the year.

I was in Franklin all day Fri and the Sinks Sat-Sun. Rain and snow mix down low. Snow up top.

Riding saturday night (8pm) we were in a freak snow storm with wicked LIGHTNING. That was a first!

Only saw one group all day Sunday, and one trailer at Tony Grove. Snow was good up top. Sunday was a blue bird day for sure :D
