The Vapor is the best choice for the hawks, unless you want to get fancy and get a remote. in that case the Vector adds that option.
I am running a Vapor for the KTMs retail is 129.95 yours at 103.95 plus 9.95 for shipping..
there are several different mounts available.. the protector mount I used is
about $45.00 and mounts on to the bar mounts..
The 503 would take an air cooled model from a Blaster.. same price..

How does the Vapor hold up to the cold temps and the snow? Is it OK in the elements or does it need to be in a heated and sealed box?

I havent heard of any issues with the Vapor. I know lots of guys are using them on both snowmobiles, and dirtbikes that are used in like climates as we experiance on the hawks.. If anyone is interested please PM me..

I installed a Vapour computer on mine last year just before my last ride and it looks very good but I had a problem with it that I did hot have time to investigate.

The speed indication becomes erratic above maybe 30-40 mph.

Is this a known issue ?? cure if any ???

Known issue and I have not heard of a fix, Maybe J&L has an answer.

Ive talked with TT about the speedo. They said that it just didnt work to well on hawks.. Not quite sure why that is. I didnt hook my speed wire up as I dont really have the need.It wouldnt be accurate anyways, only measuring track speed. Im more interested in the Tach, and temp mainly.. I do like having the ambient temp and clock etc also..

Snowdunes.. I know greenwater a whole lot better in the summer time on the bikes.. I get turned around a bit in the snow...we will be doing alot of rides out of there this winter, your welcome any time..
