Aluminum intake box?

like a charge air box for a turbo?? if so, justin at silber turbo's is really cool with selling just bits and peices of kits for stuff.

Yeah I want to get rid of the stock air box. Because where the box slides on to the carburetors, it has a VERY bad seal and it sucks a ton of snow in the air box and freezing up the carburetors. I have used the carb heaters to keep them thawed but I want a sealed air box to keep the snow out.
I’m not sure if this is the way to go any advice would be great ?

this is definately the WRONG way of doing it.. a turbo airbox is designed to have air pushed through it and will not flow properly. Just put little pod filters on each of the carbs, should deal with all your icing issues.

or just glue up the seams on the stocker.. easy as pie.

Thanks you just saved me some $$$$

I will look into just glueing it up, if i cant get the air box off the carbs easily that way.
