I've used the lifeline shovel for the past 2 years with no problems. Cost like $20 when not on sale and does exactly what a shovel is supposed to do...dig without falling apart. Nice thing is I'm not worried about losing the handle, or the blade as I can replace the whole unit cheep. We'll see how it stacks up to the BCA one that came with the kit I got for Christmas.
