Alpha sliders ? Same or different profile?

Looking at the parts list. The Alpha has a different part number, then the regular MC. I get that, because of where it bolts to the rail. But does anyone know if the actual profile is the same? Can I fit a regular 153 Skid slider in and just drill a new bolt hole?

I don't know for sure but I was told the profile was the same.

Yes, the profile is the same. The alpha has tapered ends which is different than a normal slider but it isn’t anything you couldn’t do yourself with a hacksaw. Drill a hole and you’re good to go
