Alpha jumped track

Has anyone else jumped there track off there Alpha? I jumped mine off in a drainage today. Track tension was spec and the other Alpha I ride with has a much loser track. I've never jumped one off any sled I've owned before, I'm also taking this sled into much more intense terrain already more than any other sled. After getting it back on I tightened it very tight for the ride out. It definitely needs loosened before my next ride. Just curious if anyone else has tightened there track tighter the spec

No pics. It was hard to tell if the track was too loose when it happened since it was out of line and tighter than usual. It was not completely off. The track clips were riding on the outside of the hi fax on the right side. When it happened I was turning out putting a lot of side pressure on the track while tipping over with throttle. I was turning out to the left though. I thought it was odd, like it should have jumped off the other side

Hope you don't have to run it like the old ez rydes.
They were really tight.

Or as tight as a polaris?

I have 250 miles on my alpha now. Track stated to ratchet at the end of my last ride yesterday, but haven’t jumped the track. I have t check the track tension since about the 80 mile market.

Had this happen to me in almost the exact same way you described. I’m running a tad tighter than spec today on mine. The rear idlers just jumped one set of cogs. Loosen and put back where it goes tighten and off you go again.

I had mine jump off a row on the rear wheels as well. Little re entry jib landing a bit heavy on the side and it just pushed the track over. Tension was probably too loose from break in stretch. Easy to get it back on and it’s nice to not worry about alignment with just one tensioner bolt. I went for a little on the right side and 500 miles later no other occurrences. The track clips ate a big groove in my sliders up by the drivers though when it jumped over might need to replace one.

I didn't have track jump but snap ring on upper idler came out or was never in from factory. Wheel moved up against tunnel and track was down below and rubbing on drop bracket. Caught it before it did any damage. Couldn't get it over far enough on the mountain. Guess I'll see when I thaw it out in the shop but I don't see how it goes over far enough to get it in the groove. Seems like it was milled wrong and not in there but then there would be a bunch of them.
