So my riding buddy picked up an Alpha in January. He has kept it all stock, not even a can yet. It started by fouling plugs, probably because of the break in program. It also had the idle speed fluctuation some have reported and it shows it is running hot when it shouldn't be.
It went the the dealer, they did the reflash and returned it supposedly with a clean bill of health. Last time out it ran good all day but just a mile short of the truck it was running hot and reverted back to the up and down idle speed.
He took it to the dealer again yesterday. They claim they do not know what the problem is and have been getting more sleds back, including 18s with similar issues.
Anybody have any insights on this? The dealer claims the turbo guys with revised fueling programs are not having issues. Is the Racinstation reflash a potential fix for NA machines?
