alchohol free fuel in McCall

wow I misread your headline on the post. "Free Alcohol in McCall" is what I saw...that was much more exciting then what you really meant...oh well.

Thanks for the info, I just bought 75 gallons to haul up but will pass the word.

I believe the new owners are sledders and understand the advantage of using and also selling ethanol free fuel to the snowmobile crowd. It is pretty obvious who buys the most fuel in the winter time in McCall.

The other day I did a double take, however, as I noticed on Maverik's sign big letters proclaiming "No Ethanol". I'm not sure I believe them, and would still support the locally owned Shell station.

The "Old Town Market" Shell station in McCall is not Ethonal free, anymore. I just fueled up on Friday and the pumps have the 5% Ethonal sticker on them. They were advertising that they were Ethonal free but something made them change their mind. I guess the Maverik Store is the only place in town, for now. Just a "heads up" if you're looking for fuel.

I believe they were ethonal free until sometime late this last week, like Wenesday or Thursday. I had been buying all my fuel there and when I pulled in Friday I noticed the sign on the pumps. So, it has been rather recent.
I just remembered, I think Jim's Grocery was advertising ethonal free fuel. I'll have to check tomorrow.
