Alaska Avalanche Links

Here is another link I got from a member when I started a thread on this same subject.

http://crust.outlookalaska.com/

We created a sub forum for the for sale items. Maybe we could talk them into creating a subform for Avy Conditions called something like "Member Avalanche and Snow Observations". under that forum we could have

"Conditions at Petersville"
"Conditions at Placer/Twenty Mile"
"Conditions at Hatchers"
"Conditions at Eureka"

I know I sure as heck would read them.. I check here before every trip I make on conditions. Sometimes they fall away from the top and if there is a special sub-forum it may help bring out more awareness. Especially with a title like "Member Avalanche and Snow Observations"

Don't know.. It was like pulling teeth the get a forum for the for sale items. Then again this may be a stupid idea but thought I would throw it out there anyways.

I am not one to go off making all kinds of sub-forums and making navigation confusing but God knows it is an appropriate and important topic.

Thats a great idea it would be nice to hear what other riders have to say about the conditions if they had been there the day before ya know.

We kind of do this now with threads but it is much less informal and the threads tend to sink to the bottom, get off topic etc.. would be nice to have it in a more formal format.
