you have any pics of these installed on a Pro? Do you cut off the entire lip of the tunnel that the airframes use for mounting and rivit yours to the side of the tunnel instead?

We leave 3/8" on the lip. It distributes the load better. No pics installed yet. AKBoards are being powder coated.

We are incorporating a tunnel brace into this design to strengthen the tunnel at the rear suspension mount.

Have you tested these on a PRO yet to see if they hold up to the everyday abuse?

Can you give some close-up pics of the welds...they are all TIG welded I would presume...and Aluminum?

Yes these are aluminum tube boards and all connections are TIG welded. (first prototypes were mig welded and performing flawlessly)

I'm leaving for Kodiak Island at 0330 so I can't get a picture done for you right now but I will on Tuesday when I return to the shop.

We have been abusing these boards on several models, M-Series & Nytro this season and they are working beyond anyone's expectation. We guarantee you will be satisfied with the performance.

they look pretty nice. good work. i absolutely love my airframes and won't ride without them again and these look like they will work as well. i also like to support local so might have to pick a set of these up for my next sled. (maybe next year...)

Thanks PV!

those look like they would work pretty slick. i made some just like that except used tubing along the tunnel and it builds up snow there. i think that flat stock would work alot better. wish i would of though of it. good idea
