Just thought I'd share some of my summer fun pics while we wait for the snow to come back.

The first two are pics is the two day catch from a overnighter in Ressurection Bay out of Seward, Ak and the third is of some WWII bunkers on top of a small island between Ressurection Bay and the Gulf of Alaska.

Hello from VT. Summer has been wet but it hasnt stopped us from riding. In fact we found ourselves smack dab in a middle of an honest to god CULT/MILITIA in VT, we road up a class 4 town road when we noticed it had been graded and seeded with grass, we roll into the center of this place and were surrounded. I guess they "took Over" the road and the authorities have not been quick to react. We called the cops and waited, it took forever for them so decided to leave. That's Whacked!

I know how ROO feels when he mentions his growing love for motorsport. ROO is that you hucking the MTB?? I used to ride until I got a motor but getting back into it again after being given a Santa Cruz Heckler Frame!

I had a moment this summer on my 450 in very wet sand where I had a Snowhawk flash back, it was just the feel of counter steering pressures of the bar in my hands. A total loss of feel on the ground but with steady and calm inputs it goes where you want it too.. I turned and tried to explain to my buddies but no one can relate. Pretty Sad actually. Anyway here are some pics.

yeah, that was the last day that we got to ride those trails. the owner of the land decided to shut us down a couple days later! 4 years of building and riding with total support..... gone in an instant because of fear of the almighty lawsuit!!!!!! wish a waiver really meant something in court!!! going to start hitting up whistler here in a couple weeks, should be a blast!!!!!

Here's what my summer fun looks like up to now... Not too much happening i'll tell ya ! Just too hot here !

As some of you know, I design & build MTB frames. Should complete that Gearboxxed DH mountain bike in a week or so...

I wish I could picture myself riding a tricked out Yamaha Superjet... but that won't happen this year !

tinker much?

Man Thierry! You have that thing torn way apart. Did you say there were "Must Have" changes for my 03 503 suspension setup? I can't wait to see the second graphic proposal! Cheers.

downhill fun!

two days rippin whistler!!! big smiles but sore as hell!!! One of the best weekends riding DH bikes I have ever had!

I see Thierry! How does the gearbox bike ride?

So do you ride up ski lifts and ride down? Or do you have to peddle up?

Anyway, i'll bet it's a blast! More pics!

Damn ! If I had to pedal up with that thing, I would quit ! Chair lifts all the way to the top and rip the shiat on the way down ! SOOOOO much fun to ride a good DH bike in these trails !

Here's two pics of the beast. I designed & built the frame & made the "Mtn Camouflage" graphics for it ! Pretty stoked about how it turned out. Rides really well, still a bit of suspension tuning to do. MTB are a bit different on suspension since they don't weight as much as anything of their motorized big brothers. This prototype topping the scale at 51 pounds for the curious ones. Definetly not like throwing a hawk around especially with most of the weight right in between your feet because of the 7 speed gearbox being there !

Friends of mine, Alex & Guillaume from G54, made the gold triple clampe g set according to dimensions I gave them. They did a truely amazing job on this.

Gearbox is the way to go on DH mountain bikes mainly because you get rid of the rear derailler and all the fixing & tear off that comes with it as soon as it hits a rock or hit a tree after you dig yourself into a tree about 2 seconds earlier in a "too tight" trail !!! Hahahaha ! Last weekend was such a load of fun, the best time I had on a DH bike so far. Tired and sore today but it was totally worth it. Whistler's got some of the most awesome terrain for DHing .... AND HAWKING by the way ! Definetly a spot I'll go back once or twice next winter !
