sled is 2010 rmk 800. I have disconnected black rubber strap. I have removed the air temp sensor since I couldn't get it unplugged until it was removed and I have removed the other thing that is needlessly screwed to the airbox. I have loosened the hose clamps attaching the airbox to the throttle bodies and appear to be at a standstill. F'er does not want to come off.
Here are my questions: 1 – am i okay just loosening the hose clamps or should they be fully released to remove the airbox? 2 - do the rubber boots stay on the throttle body or do they remove with the airbox?
thank you guys.
one last little area of confusion I have is the reference to a one-piece airbox. I don't have a PhD but it sure as hell looks like more than one piece to me?
