airbox options

so taking my airbox out to do the tps, i got to looking at my tb's and they were nasty i mean terrible. Has anybody made something to seal up the bottom part of the airbox so its actually sealed to the tb's i would rather put a couple filters on at this point after seeing how nasty the tb's were. Both the halves are sealed up with right stuff.

I have an 08 as well. You will need to buy the 09 box. Take a look at it on the parts fiche. Mine had heaps of grime in it when I bought it. Put the 09 box in and sealed it up, no more grime.

my 09 airbox was bad too! it sealed nice everywhere but at the top of the hump where the jackshaft goes thro. there was prolly almost 1/4in gap. i filled with silicone and the duct taped over the top of it and also over the whole seam.

I used weather stripping and cut it to go around the gaps so when you pushed the box together it would push on the stripping works great.
