I noticed a lot of people don't have added air vents .. I added to the intake on the air box , a some exhaust vents and 2 intake vents on the clutch side .. Have done since the early years .. Is there some reason you don't ..Opinions both ways please ..

as long as the vents are well placed with a proper mesh and sealed good to prevent snow from getting in I thing its hard to say that extra venting to keep the under the hood temps down could ever be bad (got a sheet of frogzskin 3ft by 5ft 40$ and I'm going to make my hood vents)
as for the intake on the air box if its getting hot air from under the hood... NO GOOD.. hot air intake =HP lose if your facing plugged vents{no air} well any air is better than no air! I went with slp high flow intake 57% more surface arear for better air flow to the engine and less chance of plugging.. just my opinion on the sub....
