Cut the hole(s) in your side panels then. lol
I was never a vent fan. Then one winter I noticed (on my m8 at the time) that after I took a break and ate lunch, that my sled seemed to run more crisp after lunch. Realized that it was due to the clutches cooling during lunch, so I vented the sled. Nothing crazy, just the bare minimum.
Went to a 13 Pro 2 years ago and seemed that word on the street (aka the forum) was vents weren't needed on the pro. After about 500 miles I blew a belt, and I had never blown a belt before with that few of miles. So start of last winter I added 2 cool vents. You can really feel the heat coming off the clutch through the vents.
IMO, venting should be one of the most common upgrades.
